The match between Nashville SC and DC United ended in a 2-2 draw after a dramatic second half at Geodis Park.
DC United took the lead early in the second half, but Nashville SC fought back with two goals from Warren Madrigal. The first came in the 75th minute when Madrigal scored from close range, making it 1-2. Just three minutes later, he struck again with a right-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Andy Nájar, to level the score at 2-2.
The game saw several key moments. In the 73rd minute, DC United’s Silvan Hefti received a second yellow card for dangerous play, reducing his team to ten men. Nashville capitalized on the numerical advantage, pushing forward in search of an equalizer. A corner in the 80th minute led to a missed opportunity by Madrigal, whose shot went just wide of the right post.
