The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation have jointly decided to honor seven young athletes with the prestigious China Youth May Fourth Medal in recognition of their outstanding contributions. The recipients include Su Yiming, Wang Xindi, Dang Hesong, Wang Tao, Yu Shuang, Liu Zixu, and Ji Lijia.
At the 25th Winter Olympic Games and the 14th Winter Paralympic Games, China’s sports delegation achieved the best results in history for overseas participation, demonstrating remarkable perseverance, unity, and sportsmanship. Their efforts earned glory for the nation and showcased the vibrant spirit of Chinese youth, while also highlighting China’s strength, culture, and image on the global stage. Their accomplishments further ignited patriotic passion and a spirit of striving among Chinese people, including young generations both at home and abroad.
Notably, other athletes such as Wang Yue and Ning Zhongyan received provincial-level or departmental honors and were not included again in this award. The decision was reported by CCTV News.
