Former CSKA Moscow footballer Alexander Grishin stated on the air of Match TV that Krasnodar squandered their chance to win the Russian Premier League title in the match against Dynamo Moscow.
The 29th round of the MIR RPL meeting in Moscow ended with a 1-2 defeat for Krasnodar. The visitors conceded the decisive goal in the 90+3rd minute. With one round remaining, Krasnodar sits second in the table, trailing Zenit St. Petersburg by two points.
“Krasnodar lost the championship in this game. Zenit won’t let it slip this year. Rostov has already accomplished all its tasks, and Zenit will arrive with ultimate motivation to win the gold medals,” Grishin said during the “All on Match!” program on Match TV.
In the final round of the RPL, Krasnodar will host Orenburg at home on May 17, while Zenit will travel to face Rostov.
