Gomez highlighted significant difficulties his team faced both mentally and physically, which clearly impacted their overall performance on the pitch. “I am not satisfied with the image we showed,” he stated, pointing to the collective shortcomings.
The Al-Fateh manager, however, voiced strong confidence in the young players who featured in the game. He rejected any notion of placing blame on them, emphasizing the importance of supporting emerging talents as a core part of the club’s future project. Gomez reiterated that these youngsters need trust and encouragement to grow.
