Barcelona has been awarded the La Liga trophy following their 2-0 victory over Real Madrid in the 35th matchday of the Spanish championship. The match took place at Spotify Camp Nou in Barcelona, with Alejandro Hernández from Santa Cruz de Tenerife serving as the main referee.
Barcelona secured an early lead, with Marcus Rashford scoring in the 9th minute and Ferran Torres doubling the advantage in the 18th minute, ending the first half at 2-0.
With this win, Barcelona clinched the La Liga title with three games remaining, now sitting atop the table with 91 points. Real Madrid holds second place with 77 points.
In their next fixture, Hans-Dieter Flick’s side will face Alavés away on May 13, while Álvaro Arbeloa’s team will host Oviedo at home a day later.
